After years of research and digging we finally found a male that we could use for breeding our two girls to. I have seen virtually ever-male BRT in the USA that has competed in confirmation. Scouring the OFFA database and asking hard questions of breeders and owners alike we ruled many stud dogs out for lack of type or lack of health certification. We would find one but not the other. After years of hard work we finally hit pay dirt in finding MAKS.

Darlene first saw MAKS in California while she was out there showing one of our Havanese bitches. She came home telling me of this really nice male in San Francisco. We checked up on the male and found him to be owned by Simon Radzivilovsky. It was over a year later that I traveled to California to see THE MAKS in person. I liked the two puppies I had seen sired by MAKS as well I really liked MAKS. We had only initially intended to use MAKS as a stud dog. Well one thing led to another and together with our good friends Candy and Kathy Jones, we ended up purchasing THE MAKS. In November of 2005 I flew home with MAKS and we have not looked back. MAKS finished, his AKC CH in style going breed from the classes over Specials in January 2006 in Florida. At the Eukanuba Classic MAKS picked up an AWARD OF MERIT. He has been a good show dog although he did have a few issues to work out in the beginning. MAKS is a good dog around the house and is a wonderful addition to our breeding program. We look forward to specialing him the rest of 2006. MAKS is the only dog being campaigned in 2006 that has his full OFFA health Certifications. We take great pride in bring only the best dogs and bitches to the show ring.

Ryka is following in the family tradition of BPIS, taking the Newnan GA BRTCA Specialty. This is our second BRT to win a BPIS win. Her brother Brt was our first BPIS and our first BISS. SO we are having high hope for RYKA to make the BISS as well.
She is an outstanding bitch out of the second litter from KO x CEA. She also has had her preliminary hip and elbow x-rays and they do look great. Her eyes are Cerf'd. Health is a very important part of our breeding program while staying true to Breed Type. We look forward to showing this outstanding bitch to the AKC Fancy come July of 2004. Look forward to seeing you at a show soon.

Zuzu is the first BRT bitch to be awarded her AKC CH. title and the second BRT to gain an AKC CH. Her brother Brt was the first BRT to complete an AKC CH. She has won AWARD OF MERIT at the Eukanuba Classic and BPIS at Specialties. Zuzu has also done well in the Specials ring with many, many Group Placements. She has also passed all of her OFFA Health Certifications. Zuzu is the only BRT bitch being specialed in 2005 and 2006 that has all of her OFFA Health Certifications.

ZUZU has a great temperment and wonderful breed type. This has been proven in the ring many times over. At home she runs with the Bichons and Havanese. She is a great watch and guard dog, forever on the alert to approaching strangers on the property. Yet when told to greet people she is respectful and will ask for a pet on the head. We look forward to breeding ZUZU and MAKS in the near future. Again we like to bring breed type and health together in our dogs.
